Located in the boreal forest of Swedish Lapland lies the exclusive Loggers Lodge, a luxurious red timber cabin of the highest quality, perfect for couples or families celebrating a special occasion. This is the place to leave the outside world behind and immerse yourself in the pristine nature surrounding you, with your hosts taking care of every detail to ensure a truly authentic Nordic experience.
Sleep Well
The original cabin dates back to the late 1800s, now true to its origin but with modern comforts added with comfortable Scandinavian furniture and the focal point the large central fireplace, once the place to cook, now the source of warmth and atmosphere. It has a large luxurious bathroom with a high-tech shower and black granite surfaces complementing the oak ribbon panels. With attention to detail and high quality amenities giving you a five star experience. Other features include a bean to cup coffee machine, a minibar fridge with a selection of spirits, beers, wine & soft drinks included, wi-fi and ipad with a sonos music system and contact facility to your host 24/7.
The separate modern glass cabin is located approximately 30 metres away, accessed by a wooden walkway. It can be set-up to have either a king-sized bed or twin beds and includes a private bathroom, bioethanol fireplace and floor to ceiling windows facing the forest, creating a unique atmosphere, welcoming the feeling of closeness to nature.
Eat Well
The cuisine at Loggers Lodge is an essential part of your stay. Only the finest ingredients using local produce to create traditional Swedish gourmet food is used, including berries, mushrooms, reindeer, moose, fish and caviar, all sourced from the surrounding nature and local producers. All meals are prepared by your private chef and served directly to your cabin, including a selection of wines to match the food. When staying at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Play Well
Depending on the time of year, a selection of activities are included in your stay, with one per full day at the lodge. During the winter choose from a Snowmobile adventure, Snowshoeing in the forest, Cross-country skiing, Excursion to Storforsen Rapids, Photography workshop, Swedish cooking or baking class or a Survival skills workshop and in the evening a Northern Lights Safari. During the summer season choose from Forest Hiking, Excursion to the Storforsen Rapids, Spin fishing, Nature photography workshop, Swedish cooking or baking class or Lake rowing and wild swimming.
You also have free use of snowshoes, Nordic skis and kick sledges in the winter, and the use of bikes and fishing equipment in the summer and autumn season.
Be Well
The wood fired sauna is located in a separate cabin with floor to ceiling glass windows that look out to nature while enjoying your spa session. There is also a relaxation area with comfortable chairs and a shower with local products and scrubs. Outside there is a hydrotherapy hot tub offering an amazing jacuzzi experience under the starry sky overhead.
