SUGGESTED ITINERARY

WHAT, WHERE & WHEN

DAY 1:

Arrival to Kittila Airport. We'll arrange a transfer directly to the resort. Settle in to your superior or premium glass igloo. Next to the rolling fells of northern Finland, you’ll be in a perfect location to search for the Northern Lights at 68 degrees north. You’ll enjoy snowy white landscapes as far as the eye can see. Finland’s largest ski resort at Levi is just 10km away which offers a wide range of ski runs as well as winter activities.

Dinner will be served in the resort's restaurant Aurora Sky serving modern Nordic cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy the views from your dining table.

Overnight in a glass igloo or glass igloo suite.

DAY 2:

A breakfast platter will be delivered to your glass igloo. You'll have the day ahead to relax or fill with Arctic adventures. You may wish to spend the day on the ski slopes of Levi Resort - Finland's largest. Here you'll find over 40 pistes and 230 km of cross-country ski tracks to explore. Ski rental and ski school are also available for all ages. In the evening, a delicious three course dinner will be served before another chance to view the Northern Lights.

DAY 3:

After breakfast, enjoy the downhill skiing at Levi Resort or perhaps join an optional excursion including:

Dog-sledding
Snow mobiling
Reindeer sledding
Santa home visit
Snow shoeing
Nordic skiing

Evening Northern Lights excursions are available from Levi including snow mobiling, snow shoeing and dog-sledding.

DAY 4:

After breakfast it is time to return to the airport. Alternatively we can extend your holiday in northern Finland with additional nights at the Glass Igloo or you can also stay in their luxury villa. We can also arrange an overnight stay at the Snow Village where you can stay in a ice room for the night.

My wife and I enjoyed one nights stay at the Golden Crown igloos as part of our Lapland Honeymoon trip. We arrived late in the evening, which seemed to add to the magic of our surroundings. After a very tasty meal in the near Kota hut, we settled into our serene sanctuary. It was a blissful nights stay and whilst we unlucky with the weather (too cloudy for the Aurora), we had a great time. A fantastic experience and great memories made!
