Day 1: Arrival at Aurora Safari Camp

Your luxury glamping holiday in Swedish Lapland begins at Luleå Airport, where you will be met for your private transfer north, taking 1 hour. Enjoy the scenic drive before arriving at the Aurora Safaris reception, where you will collect winter clothes for your trip. The final, exhilarating leg of your journey involves a short snowmobile sleigh transfer across the frozen lake. Here, we use nature to aid transportation, not hinder it.

Check in to your luxurious and heated Deluxe Tipi, where you will spend the first two nights. These unique Arctic accommodation structures are perfectly positioned to offer uninterrupted views of the night sky. Settle in and enjoy the camp facilities; perhaps warm up in the lakeside sauna, the brave might take on the icy plunge, or take a quiet stroll on snowshoes. After a delicious, home-style dinner inspired by Northern Swedish cuisine, step outside and search the vast dark sky for your first sighting of the Northern Lights.

Following your experienced guide, you will traverse the frozen river and pristine forest trails of the Råne River Valley speeding your way through the Arctic wilderness, a staple of any Lapland adventure holidays.

In the afternoon, tap into your artistic side with a memorable ice sculpting experience. Learn the techniques required to transform blocks of pure Arctic ice into your own frozen masterpiece, a great hands-on activity. The rest of your day is at leisure. Relax in your cosy Arctic Tipi, enjoy included snacks and drinks, or simply soak up the peaceful silence of the surrounding forest, ready for another night under the clear starry skies and (hopefully) Northern Lights.

Half-Day Forest Tour by Snowmobile

Embark on an exhilarating half-day (approximately 3.5 hours) guided snowmobile experience, perfect for getting a thrilling taste of Arctic driving and exploration. Following your expert guide, you will be taught the fundamentals of handling this essential winter vehicle before setting out to carve tracks through the snowy forest paths. This segment provides a wonderful opportunity to traverse the immediate wilderness, speeding across smaller frozen lakes and enjoying the crisp air and stunning scenery, before returning to the lodge refreshed and ready for your next adventure.

Ice Sculpting

Unleash your creative side with an Ice Sculpting workshop, where you will be provided with tools and guidance to transform a large block of ice into your own frozen piece of art, typically taking 1.5 to 2 hours. It is a wonderfully engaging and cooling activity that results in a temporary but beautiful piece of northern craftsmanship.

Day 3: Dog Sledding & Sleep Under The Northern Lights

Embrace the ultimate Arctic tradition with a half-day dog sledding excursion. Meet the enthusiastic team of huskies who will pull your sled through the snow-laden landscape. This unforgettable experience adds another premier winter activity to your itinerary.

For the final night of your winter adventure, stay in a unique arctic accommodation. The Lapland Glass Cone, a perfect finale to your trip. This warm, insulated room offers a panoramic perspective, making it an incredible vantage point for your last night. Enjoy a celebratory dinner at the camp, reflecting on your adventures before spending the night sleeping under the Northern Lights from the warmth of a comfy bed.

Half Day Husky Tour with Outdoor Lunch

Experience the most iconic way to travel through the Scandinavian wilderness, as you take on the role of Musher in charge of your very own team of huskies. With only the sound of paws in the snow, and the gentle swoosh of the sled, this is a wonderfully tranquil way to explore. Half way you will stop for lunch around the campfire, and have the chance to cuddle your new furry friends!

Day 4: Farewell - Homeward Bound or Extend your Stay in Lapland

Enjoy a leisurely final breakfast at the camp. Take advantage of the remaining morning hours to use the facilities, perhaps one last visit to the Arctic sauna experience, or a short walk using the included winter bikes or skis. Gather your memories, you will take the short snowmobile sleigh ride back to the reception area.

Your private transfer will be waiting to take you back to Luleå Airport, ensuring a comfortable and timely departure as you conclude your extraordinary 4-day luxury glamping Swedish Lapland journey.
