Day 1

On arrival at Ivalo Airport you will be met and transferred through magical winter scenery to Wilderness Hotel Nangu. Upon checking in, you will receive your personal schedule of events for your holiday and be escorted to your cosy lodgings, where sparkling wine awaits. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the restaurant and relax in the cozy lounge area. Don’t forget to keep watch for the elusive aurora.

Days 2-3:

On our 3 night break the following activities are included. You will receive safety information and instructions on how to use any equipment by an English speaking guide.

Explore Snowmobiling

After an introductory lesson, you’ll join a snowmobile excursion taking you through the untouched wilderness on the snowy trails surrounding the hotel. Driving in pairs, stops are made on route allowing you to swap drivers, take photos and enjoy the winter scenes. A lunch stop is made to warm up by the open fire with hot drinks and a snack before returning to the lodge.

Husky Safari

A short transfer takes you to the husky kennels where you’ll find a pack of excitable husky dogs waiting to take you out on a dog sledding adventure. You will be shown how to handle your own sled before heading out in pairs, one mushing the team and one as a passenger, each taking turns to drive the dog sled through the beautiful winter scenery. Enjoy the moment as the dogs fall silent once on the trail allowing for nature’s silence to take over.
