The tour starts at Þingvellir National Park, a historic and natural wonder where you can see the visible rift valley between the two continental plates. Next, visit the Haukadalur Geothermal Area to witness the Strokkur geyser erupt high into the air every few minutes, and see the original Great Geysir. The main tour concludes at Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall," where a powerful glacial river plunges into a deep canyon.
An optional horseback riding tour provides a peaceful end to the day, riding gentle Icelandic horses through the countryside.
*Please note: The horseback riding activity is not suitable for people over 120 kgs or those in poor physical shape.
Your day starts with a magnificent Glacier Hike. A professional guide will provide all necessary safety equipment (crampons, ice axes) before you explore the largest glacier in Europe, navigating deep crevasses and unique ice formations.
Following the hike, this tour takes you to the astonishing Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Here, you'll take an unforgettable boat ride to get closer to the massive icebergs drifting towards the ocean. Across the road, visit the unique Diamond Beach, a black sand shore covered in sparkling chunks of ice. After a day of exploring, you will head to your accommodation in the scenic Southeast area.
Today you explore the magnificent Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called "Iceland in Miniature."
The journey begins with the striking hexagonal basalt columns of Gerðuberg and continues to Ytri-Tunga, a rare white sand beach that's a prime spot for viewing a seal colony. You'll encounter dramatic volcanic landscapes at Djúpalónssandur black pebble beach, all under the watch of the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier. The tour culminates at the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, famous for its "arrowhead" shape.
Add an unforgettable extra adventure by choosing the optional tour to the Víðgelmir lava cave, one of the largest lava tubes in the world. You will return to the Borgarnes area for the night.
Your final tour day is spent exploring the historical and geological wonders of West Iceland.
The journey begins at Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring, followed by a visit to Reykholt, the historic home of medieval scholar Snorri Sturluson. The tour features two unique waterfalls: Hraunfossar, where water streams magically out of a lava field, and the powerful, blue rush of Barnafoss through a narrow ravine.
As a final thrill, you can add an optional tour to the Víðgelmir Lava Cave, one of Iceland's largest lava tubes. You will return to Reykjavík in the late afternoon (around 4–6 PM).
