Unique Timber Lodge
Lapland Guesthouse comprises different wooden cabins, all restored or hand-built by the owner Johan, who sympathetically constructs the buildings using local materials. They are all lovingly furnished to a high quality creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The main lodge is the hub of the guesthouse, with a log burner in the open dining area, also with a small souvenir shop. Across the yard is The Tilted Reindeer, an inviting lounge and bar area, providing a warm sanctuary to relax and unwind with a drink.
Situated under 2 hours from Kiruna in northern Sweden, the remote location provides the perfect setting for winter adventures and chances of seeing the northern lights during the winter season.
Sleep Well
The different accommodation types range from rooms with shared facilities in the main lodge, to private smaller double ensuite rooms and superior double ensuite rooms to unique and romantic double rooms and larger cabins for up to four guests. All the rooms are different in size and style, but all are very comfortable and well-furnished.
Eat Well
Your stay is full-board, with meals served in the main lodge dining area - a great place to share stories and adventures with fellow travellers. Evening meals are 3-courses and some lunches will be outdoors during daytime activities.
Play Well
Lapland Guesthouse has the perfect setting for experiencing the very best winter activities. It offers a shorter 2 hour snowmobile safari, or if you prefer a longer adventure there is also a 4 hour lunch tour, snowmobiling to a reindeer farm and a 6 hour epic safari. No visit to northern Sweden is complete without meeting the adorable huskies and driving on the snowy trails on either a 2 hour or 4 hour safari. There is also an ice-fishing adventure, snowshoe trekking into the wilderness, quad driving on the snow and a northern lights sled tour.
