Let us take you on a magical journey following the life, childhood and stories by author Tove Jansson, the creator of Finland’s most famous cartoon characters, the Moomin’s. Travel to some of Finland’s most beautiful locations, including its capital, Helsinki, then on to Tampere and heading further east to ‘Saaristo’, the Turku Archipelago, visiting the medieval town of Turku and the seaside resort Naantali. 

During the trip you’ll be inspired by Tove’s work - taking inspiration from the many places that she visited and spent time, walking through the streets in Helsinki, where Tove was born and the district of Katajanokka, the area where Tove was raised as a child. Then on to Tampere to explore the unique Moomin Museum and finally to Naantali, the home of Moominworld, a fairytale theme park based on the books by Tove Jansson.

Not only can you enjoy the works and places associated with Tove and her creations, but you can also be inspired by the beautiful cities and coastal towns along the way, visiting  some wonderful and historical places in Finland.
