You'll then head towards the village of Hveragerdi which is one of the few sites in the world located directly on top of a geothermal area. Hveragerdi is often called "the flower village" because of its many greenhouses heated by hot water from nearby springs.

The tour continues to Strandarkirkja - a church popularly believed to have a special power to aid success or provide good luck. You'll continue along the coastal road passing by a deserted settlement.

Laura Greenman was our POC for Magnetic North and it was one of the best holidays I have ever taken. The tour guide was absolutely amazing, he was funny, knowledgeable and easy going. The driver was an amazing driver as he had to drive on very icy roads but making everyone feel safe. Wished we were able to eat at more true Icelandic restaurants but what was available was fine. Thank you for planning such a wonderful trip Laura!

This trip has been by far my favorite vacation to date. Iceland is beyond gorgeous, and a must see by all. Every time I had thought I’ve seen it all, we would be shown something else incredible. Iceland is so pure, unique, and breathtaking. Our group had such a great time and would highly recommend it to others.

I highly recommend this tour. We saw so many wonderful sites that we never knew existed. I was awed by the natural beauty of Iceland. Our tour guide was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and spoke very clear English so we were able to ask him almost anything about Iceland and he was able to give us detailed responses. The Northern Lights portion of the trip was on point!! We were able to see the lights due to the diligence of our tour guide consistently checking the weather and activity level. Seeing waterfalls, the glaciers, volcanoes, and the beaches only added to our enjoyment of the trip!
