WHAT, WHERE & WHEN

Day 1

Arrival in Copenhagen, where you will spend your first night in Denmark’s capital. Your stay is brief, so we have ensured you are based in the city’s most central spot, allowing you to explore as soon as you check in. There are options to upgrade the hotel if desired, and you can extend your stay at the beginning or end of the trip.

Day 2

In the morning, you will head to Copenhagen Airport to catch your flight to Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Upon arrival, you will have a private transfer to your accommodation for the night. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some time to explore Nuuk, and we can provide recommendations for key spots to visit.

Day 3

In the morning, you’ll meet your personal host, who will be with you from this point onward. They will not only organise your trip but also assist you throughout your stay.

After spending some time exploring Nuuk, you’ll have lunch, followed by a boat transfer in the afternoon. Leaving civilization behind, you will head out to one of the oldest places on Earth, scanning the fjords for whales along the way.

Your base for the next three nights is a camp hidden away on a secluded beach with no roads or modern distractions. Welcome to the Arctic wilderness.

Day 4

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a kayaking adventure with a twist, foraging for mussels and fish. It’s a full morning activity where you’ll also learn how to use traditional handheld fishing lines to try and catch cod, which will be served for lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the rare opportunity to swim among icebergs. With your guide, you’ll discover the safest icebergs to swim near, wearing survival suits for protection. The evening ends with dinner and a bonfire, accompanied by drinks, concluding a truly adventurous day.

Day 5

Today, you’ll hike to Nuuk’s ice fjord, combining boat rides and hiking, with a stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll head out deep-sea fishing to catch your dinner. In the evening, you’ll enjoy your fresh catch for dinner, followed by drinks around the bonfire. Depending on the season, you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will check out and return to civilization with an open-air boat ride back to Greenland’s capital, Nuuk. Once back, you’ll have time to explore any remaining sights.

You’ll spend the night in the same hotel, and dinner will once again be served in the restaurant.

Day 7

You will be taken to the airport by private transfer and catch your flight back to Copenhagen. Depending on the flight times, you may have time to explore the city or simply relax at your hotel before heading out for dinner.

Day 8

Today marks your journey back home, or you can choose to extend your stay in Copenhagen. If you opt for the latter, one of our team members can create a tailored itinerary based on your interests.
