Day 1:

Arrive in Rovaniemi and take the transfer to Kurula’s Resort, a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Check in to your Suite, your accommodation for the next four nights with views over the frozen lake before enjoying the three-course evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant. Your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In the evening, don’t forget to head outdoors in search of clear skies and the dancing northern lights. The hotel offers night-time trips by car, taking you to remote spots away from light pollution, a guided snowshoe trek through the forest and a nature photographing tour, with information and advice on how best to take photos of the aurora and arctic nature.

Days 2-4:

It’s hard to find a better place for embarking on popular winter activities including down-hill skiing, cross-country skiing and adventure activities such as dog-sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, reindeer safari, ice-fishing and electric fat-biking along the snowy trails. All the optional activities are available from the resort and operated by a local family run business. Our Sales team will be delighted to run through the different options available and discuss your personal requirements. The hotel also has nordic skis for rental, if guests wish to explore the wintery surroundings at their leisure.
