DAY TWO:

The varied history of the Yukon has shaped the local cuisine, being influenced from hunter-gatherer ways of life for the First Nations people to the European cuisine of the many gold rush prospectors. Your hosts at the Inn find inspiration in this unique cuisine serving meals that are infused with local flavours. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the light filled dining room. In the evening savour a deliciously prepared gourmet meal in the luxurious Great Room overlooking the lake. The locally inspired menu changes daily. Expect to sample northern delicacies such as sockeye salmon, fresh lake trout and freshly picked autumnal berries.

Following dinner choose to soak in the outdoor hot tub or simply relax by the heat of the stone fireplace.

DAY THREE:

Your stay at the Inn includes a selection of activities Canada is famous for:

Kayaking and Canoeing Use of the complimentary canoes and kayaks are available throughout your stay. Start from the lodge for long or shorter paddle trips on Marsh Lake.

Discover more about the gold rush at the transportation museum, learning about intrepid stampeders hiking the Chilkoot Trail as well as tales of the people who built the famous Alaska Highway.

Northern Lights Located on the edge of Marsh Lake, considered one of the premier northern lights viewing spots, the lodge is perfectly situated to enjoy the magical lights from the warmth of the building, in the outdoor hot tub or exploring the frozen lake by snowshoe. Witness the dazzling lights change from pale green, vibrant red and pink, to magnificent yellow.
