DAY ONE:

Begin your northern autumn adventure in the capital of the Yukon, Whitehorse. Choose to spend time in the small city to learn more about a fascinating history that includes the Klondike gold rush and First Nations culture.

A transfer from Whitehorse to the Inn On The Lake is included in your stay. This short scenic drive through the Yukon allows you your first glimpse of the vast wilderness. The long days in early autumn are perfect for wildlife viewing before catching the northern lights in the late night sky.

DAY TWO:

The varied history of the Yukon has shaped the local cuisine, being influenced from hunter-gatherer ways of life for the First Nations people to the European cuisine of the many gold rush prospectors. Your hosts at the Inn find inspiration in this unique cuisine serving meals that are infused with local flavours. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the light filled dining room. In the evening savour a deliciously prepared gourmet meal in the luxurious Great Room overlooking the lake. The locally inspired menu changes daily. Expect to sample northern delicacies such as sockeye salmon, fresh lake trout and freshly picked autumnal berries.

Following dinner choose to soak in the outdoor hot tub or simply relax by the heat of the stone fireplace.

Kayaking and Canoeing Use of the complimentary canoes and kayaks are available throughout your stay. Start from the lodge for long or shorter paddle trips on Marsh Lake.

Whitehorse City Tour Visit the capital of the Yukon, Whitehorse, to learn about the early history of the city, the frantic gold rush and First Nations cultural history. Discover more about the gold rush at the transportation museum, learning about intrepid stampeders hiking the Chilkoot Trail as well as tales of the people who built the famous Alaska Highway.

Northern Lights Located on the edge of Marsh Lake, considered one of the premier northern lights viewing spots, the lodge is perfectly situated to enjoy the magical lights from the warmth of the building, in the outdoor hot tub or exploring the frozen lake by snowshoe. Witness the dazzling lights change from pale green, vibrant red and pink, to magnificent yellow.

Hiking Start your adventure directly from the lodge with scenic walks along White Mountain or Miles Canyon.

Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Springs The nearby Yukon Wildlife Preserve offers the opportunity to witness some of Canada’s most famous creatures including the mighty moose, lynx, arctic fox and mountain goat. Bathe in the natural mineral waters of Takhini Hot Springs that flow from deep within the earth, which are uniquely odorless, giving off no sulphur smell to detract from your enjoyment

DAY FOUR:
