Hike and Hygge Tour from Rox Resort

Embark on a captivating journey from Rox Resort to the historic white chalk cliffs of Stevns Klint, where the dramatic landscape rises high above the Baltic Sea. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers more than just stunning views; it is a place where the history of life on Earth is etched into the very rock, revealing the geological secrets of the mass extinction that occurred 66 million years ago.

Your day begins at 09:00 with a pre-arranged transfer from the resort, whisking you away to the start of your coastal adventure. Led by an expert guide from Klintetours, you will follow a scenic cliff-top trail at a relaxed and comfortable pace. The journey takes you from the historic Højerup Church toward the Boesdal limestone quarry, passing significant landmarks like Stevnsfort along the way. This 7 km excursion is designed for regular walkers, featuring mostly flat terrain that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the storytelling and local atmosphere.

Midday offers a chance to embrace the Danish concept of hygge with a lunch stop at a charming local café, where you can relax and refuel. The afternoon continues with a gentle hike toward the picturesque Rødvig Harbour. Here, you will have time for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, perhaps enjoying a coffee or an ice cream as you soak in the maritime surroundings before your return transfer at 15:15.

To ensure your comfort throughout the day, we recommend wearing suitable walking shoes and clothing tailored to the Danish weather. Remember to pack a bottle of water, sunglasses, and sunscreen for the trail. This curated experience perfectly balances nature, education, and relaxation, returning you to Rox Resort by 16:00.

After a leisurely morning and check-out, a taxi transfer will take you to the local station for your train back to Copenhagen, offering final glimpses of the Danish countryside along the way. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to enjoy one last pastry or coffee in the city before heading to the airport. This final day provides a gentle conclusion to your journey, connecting the vibrant culture of the capital with the serene charm of the Danish coast, and rounding off a memorable short break in Denmark.
