Reine Rorbuer
Picture Postcard Setting
Situated in the southern region of the Lofoten Islands, at the entrance to the Reinefjord lies the enchanting fishing village of Reine, home to the picturesque collection of fisherman’s cabins Reine Rorbuer. Its neighbours are the majestic mountains on one side and the Arctic Ocean on the other. If you can choose the most idyllic and beautiful setting for your holiday location, then look no further.
Sleep Well
Reine Rorbuer offers a selection of restored cabins with the atmosphere of the traditional fisherman’s homes, but with modern comforts. The cabins come in Comfort, Superior and Deluxe styles and have 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. All the cabins, or “Rorbuer” have their own bathroom, and most have a fully equipped kitchen.
Eat Well
The restaurant “Gammelbua” at Reine Rorbuer is house in a 18th century building, taking you on a journey through time, with a welcoming fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere in the evening. The food is prepared in both traditional and international styles, offering dishes using local ingredients adjusted according to the season. During the summer, enjoy the outdoor seating area with fantastic views of the surroundings.
Play Well
There are several soft adventures which can be organised by the hotel or local providers - take to the water for a guided kayaking trip, rent both electric and regular bicycles so you can explore the area at your own pace, fuel your adrenaline on a rib boat safari and hit the hiking trails on your own or with a local guide and photographer.
