Situated on the island Kvaloya, just 50 minutes from Tromso city lies the idyllic cabins of Lauklines Kystferie, a small family run business providing a selection of six cosy self-catering cabins perched on the water’s edge. With their remote location, they provide a relaxing stay, a great place to unwind and keep watch for the elusive aurora during the winter season.
Sleep Well
The traditional timber clad cabins come in Standard or Premium categories, both have 2 floors with electric heating, keeping them warm in cold temperatures. On the ground floor, each of the cabins has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. On the second floor there are two large bedrooms and further bathroom.
Eat Well
If you plan on self-catering, a stop is made at a supermarket on the arrival transfer so you can stock up on provisions. There is also an option of arranging a private chef to your cabin, who will cook an evening meal to your wishes, which will be discussed and agreed in advance.
Play Well
With a remote location the cabins are ideal for total rest and relaxation in a magical winter wonderland, with the option of renting snowshoes and kick sledges to explore the surrounding area.
Be Well
Enjoy the peaceful setting, warm up in the sauna with a private session and keep watch for the dancing northern lights.
