Your destination is an Aurora camp on Lake Inari, well away from any artificial light pollution, with a blazing open fire, plenty of hot drinks and the perfect viewing spot to enjoy the multitude of colours as they flame across the sky.

Enjoy the perfect opportunity to try out cross-country skiing with a local guide who will show you the ropes or point you in the right direction if you've skied before. Once everyone has got the hang of it, we’ll embark on a beautiful loop through the surrounding nature. This is the most peaceful way to explore the snowy scenery. We will be in no hurry, so there will be plenty of opportunities to stop for picture taking and hot drinks.

Enjoy a day outdoors and the chance to learn about the local culture and history through the lens of a local Sami family. The day begins with a guided snowmobile safari to the reindeer farm. The Sami reindeer herder will welcome you and show you to the reindeer enclosure. The guide will tell you more about the Sami culture and the life of a reindeer herder. You'll have the chance to feed the reindeer - the curious animals might even come up and eat out of your hand! You'll then enjoy lunch by the open fire, comfortably seated on reindeer hides. We will also visit Nellim church during the day. Drivers must be at least 18 years of age, with a driving licence valid in Finland. (single drive available with supplementary charge)
Strap on your snowshoes and take an enchanting wander into the Nellim woods. You’ll enjoy a steady hike through the stunning wilderness to the campsite, all the while looking to the skies for signs of the magical Northern Lights, and keeping an eye out for wildlife tracks in the snow. At the campsite, we’ll warm up with some hot drinks and hope for a view of the lights dancing above us.
