Start your day in Reykjavík, the northernmost capital, at your own pace. Wander along the inviting Laugavegur, the main shopping street, where you'll discover unique boutiques, welcoming cafes, and local art galleries. Take your time to explore and perhaps find some Icelandic souvenirs to commemorate this unforgettable journey.
Later in the day, prepare for the extraordinary Solar Eclipse. As the moon moves in front of the sun, the sky will transform, creating an awe-inspiring moment of nature's power. You'll witness this incredible event aboard a vessel that will take you out onto the waters of Faxaflói Bay for a 3 to 3.5-hour boat tour. We will provide you with special Solar Eclipse glasses for safe viewing, and a telescope will be set up on board for an even better view, allowing you to marvel at the sky in comfort. While you enjoy the spectacular sights, indulge in delicious light bites and sip on a glass of sparkling wine, making this a truly unforgettable experience.
*While this tour is designed to offer the best possible viewing experience, please note that clear skies cannot be guaranteed for Solar Eclipse Day. Like the Northern Lights, this rare celestial event depends on natural conditions beyond our control. Every effort will be made to provide an unforgettable experience, whether on land or water. Itineraries may be adjusted accordingly.
