Hotel Brosundet on Alesund’s historical waterfront has maintained and enhanced the building’s maritime past and introduced elegant and innovative design touches throughout. The hotel offers a warm and attentive service with just 47 rooms in total. Each room has been uniquely styled – some with amazing sea views. Antique beams work in harmony with selected artwork and elegant furnishings. Food and drink has been given centre stage with fresh local seafood on the restaurant Maki’s menu – the building itself is a former fishing warehouse. Choose how to spend the day: take a wildlife sea safari, join a guided architecture walk, or kayak the peaceful waterways. Further along the coast, the island of Runde offers rich birdlife and coastal scenery.
