Ice floes

Short break in Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

Locked in an eternal winter, Greenland’s ice cap is a sight that lives with you - whether you witness its icebergs at the Ilulissat Icefjord or step on to the ice cap at Kangerlussuaq. This holiday offers the chance to do both. With almost as many sled dogs as people, Ilulissat is the third largest city in Greenland. Its position next to the UNESCO heritage site of Icefjord makes it a truly unique destination. Enjoy a close up view of the fjord with its drifting icebergs before continuing your holiday to the more southerly settlement of Kangerlussuaq. Here wildlife is often in abundance including wild musk oxen and reindeer who roam the edge of the inland ice cap. The trip can be customized to your choice of Greenland adventures.

After time to settle in and absorb the awe-inspiring views, you’ll be led on a city walking tour.
