WHAT, WHERE & WHEN

Day 1:

Arrive into Whitehorse, the gateway capital of the Yukon. Opt to spend time to explore a wealth of unique Yukon attractions that include the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, marvel at the engineering of White Pass railroad, picture postcard Emerald Lake or the relaxing Takhini Hot Springs.

Boréale Ranch Lodge is located only 30 minutes from Whitehorse. Enjoy a scenic journey into the open expanses of wilderness before arriving at the lodge, your welcoming home for the next few days.

Day 2:

After a peaceful sleep under the midnight sun you will be treated to a energy packed breakfast perfect for a day of activities.

Summer in the Yukon offers gloriously long days perfect for an action packed holiday paddling along wild river, hiking trails littered with history or ride deserted mountain bike trails. With around nineteen hours of daylight the extra long dose of daylight hours allows the time you need to pack it all in. Autumn brings an array of stunning colour to the forests and the tundra, followed by a cool evening of soaring northern lights.

Each evening at the lodge is enjoyed with new friends and a lovingly prepared meal. Your hosts at Boréale Ranch are passionate about sharing Yukon delicacies with their guests, so expect to taste wild cranberries, mountain elk, fresh salmon and arctic char.

Day 3:

With the midnight sun beaming, mountains littered with scenic trails and open expanses of wildflowers in bloom, summer in the Yukon is the made for adventure. Make the most of the long days opting for one of the optional activities available at the lodge.

Alpine Hiking Explore the wild and beautiful backyard of the lodge by foot. The alpine scenery is home to turquoise glacier fed lakes, mountain peaks and unadulterated wilderness.

Mountain Biking Choose from a range of mountain biking packages from self guided adventures to guided wilderness getaways. Visit the Yukon’s main riding areas including Grey Mountain, Mount Macintyre and the Yukon River trails. The sparsely populated Yukon has a huge range of trail options available to any skill and fitness. Biking is the best way to explore the remote wilderness!

Carcross Village Tour This scenic tour is an exemplary Yukon day filled with culture, history, and exhilaration. Visit the world’s smallest desert to view endless mountain ranges from the top of sand dunes. Meet a Carcross Tagish First Nation master carver during a tour of the scenic village of Carcross. Journey past shimmering alpine lakes and glacier fed rivers teeming with fish.

Day 4:

Your final breakfast awaits before continuing your journeys. The Yukon is home to remote wilderness parks, first nations culture and truly wild wildlife.
