Prepare yourself for a full day out with this private 7 hour trip exploring and discovering the historic castles that can be found in Copenhagen and outside of the city.

Kronborg Castle, known as Elsinore from Shakespeare's Hamlet, proudly guards the Øresund Strait and is one of northern Europe’s best-preserved Renaissance castles. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it holds a special place in history and literature. Next, prepare to be blown away by the grandeur of Frederiksborg Castle, built by the legendary King Christian IV. This architectural masterpiece dazzles both inside and out, featuring the stunning Marble Gallery, Banquet Hall, and breathtaking gardens. Capture a glimpse of royalty at Fredensborg Palace, the summer residence of the Danish Royal Family. Throughout the tour, an expert English-speaking guide will share fascinating stories.

You have the evening at leisure to explore some local restaurants or even just enjoy a meal at the hotel in their rooftop bar and restaurant. You might even want to take advantage of their ‘nightcap hour’ where between 10-11pm guests are invited a free nightcap from the lobby bar.

Day 3

You will meet your group at 1030 before heading out on a group food tour of Copenhagen. Danish cuisine has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from its traditional roots of potatoes and bacon to becoming a global culinary hotspot.

The rise of New Nordic Cuisine has placed Copenhagen on the map, with modern takes on classic Danish dishes now a staple at the city’s top restaurants. On this 4-hour group tour, you'll explore the city’s vibrant food scene, sampling both contemporary and traditional delights, from gourmet bites to beloved local favourites like open sandwiches and roast pork with parsley sauce, all paired with a glass of Danish beer. Food lovers from around the world flock to Copenhagen, especially with the city being name checked so often in FX’s The Bear TV Series.

The rest of the day can be spent exploring more of the city - our team will be be able to provide you with some suggestions of places to visit based on your personal tastes.

Day 4

This morning after breakfast you can head out on a private cycling tour as visiting Copenhagen would never be complete without getting on a bike and exploring a bit. We appreciate that doing that yourself is bit daunting, and trying to keep up with even more so, which is why a private tour is a perfect way to go at your pace and enjoy the experience. You will get to see many of the key locations in the city and learn about the capital’s history.

When the tour has finished you will collect your private transfer back to the airport (all depending on your flight times) or travel onwards to your next adventure.
