Different Ski Areas:

Åre Village - the largest of the skiing areas, where you’ll find the highest peak, Åreskutan Mountain with the steepest slopes. There are several starting points to choose from which are accessible by car, ski bus or walking/skiing. The village area is connected to the Bjornen ski area. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the village area, catering for all tastes.

Duved & Tegefjall - situated further away from the main village are the areas Duved and Tegefjall, which are connected to each other. Both offer great skiing for different abilities and are generally not as crowded as the other areas. Travelling to and from the village by ski bus is free of charge with the ski pass. And of course, there are several food places to choose from.

Åre Bjornen - this is a family friendly ski area located to the east of Åre village and accessible by car, ski bus or skiing from the village. There are several restaurants and cafes in the area, although less than the village itself.

There is a fantastic choice of lodgings in and around the village resort, ranging from high-quality hotels and mountain lodges to luxurious apartments and chalets. Many of the accommodations have different restrictions depending on the time of year, some with a minimum stay and set arrival days.
