After settling into your accommodation the evening is free to relax after a day of travelling. What better way than to warm up in the outdoor rooftop jacuzzi with a panoramic view of the night sky - you’ll have a private 90 minute session, followed by a delicious 3-course dinner.

Each evening from 17.00 the sauna is ready for all guests to use as much or as little as they like during their stay. It’s a very ‘Scandinavian’ thing to do and a wonderful way to relax and feel energised.

Day 2: 23rd December

Experience your first full day on a thrilling guided snowmobile safari through the stunning Lapland landscape, taking you to places along snowy trails heading to a viewpoint where you have amazing views of Sweden’s most famous mountain range. You’ll also get the chance to try your hand at ice fishing and brew some coffee over a crackling fire and indulge in Swedish Fika.

The journey continues to the serene taiga forest, where you choose the perfect Christmas tree. Once it’s loaded onto the sled, you enjoy a cup of glogg (Swedish mulled wine) and ginger biscuits before returning to the lodge for a 2-course lunch.

The evening begins around the campfire in the tipi tent, where you’ll be treated to a delicious BBQ meal. Afterwards you’ll be taken on an Aurora chase, either in a comfortable minivan or on snowmobiles, driving you to the best viewing points to experience the northern lights. If the aurora is visible from the lodge, you may prefer to stay there, rather than heading out on the chase.

Day 3: 24th December

After a delicious breakfast, transfer the short distance to a local kennel for a dog-sledding experience. Meet the amazing huskies and after receiving instructions from the guides, you set off driving your own sled heading out through the sparkling frozen winter wonderland with old pine tree forest, frozen lakes and swamps. You’ll drive the sled in pairs, one as a musher and one as a passenger with chances to swap along the route. A break is taken for traditional Swedish fika and hot drinks by the campfire before heading back to the camp.

The afternoon and evening is free for you to relax - perhaps read a book by the fire and enjoy some hot drinks, or if you prefer to be outside in the arctic nature there are snowshoes and nordic skis which guests can freely use.

In Scandinavia it is traditional to open presents on the evening of Christmas Eve - enjoy time around the fire, a wonderful location to spend time together and share gifts.

As the evening unfolds, you’ll celebrate together with a traditional Swedish julbord (Christmas smorgasbord), prepared by head chef Alex Meier and his team.

Day 4: 25th December

After breakfast, guests gather to help decorate the Christmas tree at the lodge, followed by meeting reindeer and perhaps even Santa, who has small gifts for everyone. A relaxed lunch will be served with some delicious traditional Sami cuisine around the open fire. p After lunch, you’ll visit the magical ICEHOTEL nearby, the very first and best of its kind. You’ll have time to explore this ice creation and marvel at the different sculptures and pieces of art. Perhaps enjoy a cocktail from unique ice glasses at the ice bar.

Day 5: 26th December

Say goodbye to your hosts and new friends and transfer back to Kiruna airport for your onward travel.
