Departing Svendborg, your route follows the scenic stretch along Svendborg Sound. The journey to Fåborg takes you through the unspoiled landscapes of South Funen, offering views of the Archipelago, small hidden gems, picturesque villages, and natural surroundings. Along the way, you’ll pass a large estate with an impressive park. You will stay overnight in Fåborg.
Spend the day exploring the South Funen Archipelago. From Fåborg, enjoy a scenic boat ride with views of several islands, including Als, before arriving in Søby on the northern part of Ærø. Cycle to Marstal, with optional stops at Voderup Klint or Ærø Bryggeri in Riise. After exploring the maritime town of Marstal, follow the coastal route to Ærøskøbing, known for its cobbled streets and well-preserved historic houses. End the day with a return ferry to Svendborg where you will overnight.
