On arrival at Copenhagen airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.
The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to explore this wonderful city.There are many popular sights and attractions to visit, all easily accessible on foot. If you prefer, we can organise a guided city tour. There are several optional private tours available, including walking tours, driving tours, bicycle tours, boat tours and food tours.
The morning is free to continue enjoying the Danish capital, before a transfer takes you to the port to catch the overnight ferry to Oslo, which departs at 16.30. There are different cabin classes to choose from, as well as meal options if you wish to pre-book.
After a comfortable and enjoyable sailing across the Kattegat and Skagerrak seas, the journey takes you into the Oslofjord, arriving into the Norwegian capital at 09.45.
On arrival, you are met and transferred to the city centre hotel, your base for the next two nights.There are many attractions to visit, including several fascinating museums and galleries such as The National Museum, Norwegian Maritime Museum, Fram - The Polar Exploration Museum and MUNCH, showcasing the world’s largest collection of Edvard Munch paintings.

From Oslo the train heads west through stunning countryside passing the Hallingdal Valley, it then climbs up the mountain to Geilo, a popular ski destination in the winter and approximately half-way on the journey. After Geilo the train enters the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. Enjoy the amazing views before the train heads down again towards the famous fjords, stopping at Myrdal, the station where the line meets with the iconic Flam Railway.
