A Moomin Inspired Journey in Finland

Let us take you on a magical journey following the life, childhood and stories by author Tove Jansson, the creator of Finland’s most famous cartoon characters, the Moomin’s. Travel to some of Finland’s most beautiful locations, including its capital, Helsinki, then on to Tampere and heading further east to ‘Saaristo’, the Turku Archipelago, visiting the medieval town of Turku and the seaside resort Naantali.

During the trip you’ll be inspired by Tove’s work – taking inspiration from the many places that she visited and spent time, walking through the streets in Helsinki, where Tove was born and the district of Katajanokka, the area where Tove was raised as a child. Wander through the city following in the author’s footsteps. Head to the district of Katajanokka, the author’s childhood home. Walk along the street of Luotsikatu - named the most beautiful street in Helsinki. Look up and admire how the architecture inspired Tove’s work.
