Yukon competition terms and conditions
- The entrant of the competition agrees to be bound by the terms of conditions.
- The promoter is: Magnetic North Travel Ltd whose registered office is at West Wing, The Lodge, Friars Well Business Centre, North Drive, Wartnaby, Leicestershire, LE14 3HQ, United Kingdom.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
- The promotion will begin on 1st February 2018 and the closing date for entry is midnight 31 March 2018. Entries will not be accepted after this date. All prizes will be randomly drawn. The winner of the competition will be announced within seven days of the closing date and will be notified by email. Entry can be made on the website only.
- If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The competition is open to residents in the United Kingdom aged above 18, of Magnetic North Travel and the campaign partners employees and close relatives are not permitted to take part in the competition.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries that were not received.
- The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value. Prior notice will be given in this event.
- How to enter the competition. Please visit yukon.magneticnorthtravel.com and take part in our quiz answering five questions. After answering the questions entrants will need to submit their name and email address in order to view the results of the quiz and enter the competition.
- Entrants who opt-in on the Berghaus email newsletter will join the Berghaus newsletter. Data will not be handed to third parties.
- PRIZE One winner and their guest will be flown to Whitehorse where they'll stay in a private cabin at the boutique Northern Lights Resort and Spa. The lodge is surrounded by untouched wilderness, where you may view the Northern Lights, wildlife and the russet colours of Autumn. Enjoy a guided canoe trip on the mighty Yukon river and a hiking excursion learning about the gold rush pioneers and local wildlife. Visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve with a local guide, spotting animals native to the diverse territory. The prize also includes two nights in Whitehorse where royals Kate and William stayed on their recent visit. The package will include: return flights (economy class) from London to Whitehorse, checked baggage, five night’s accommodation, breakfast and dinner at Northern Lights Resort and Spa, activities as stated. The prize dates are fixed: 5th-10th September, 2018. Any alternative dates or holiday upgrades are subject to availability and any additional cost will be covered by the winner.
- The winner will be provided with a £400 Berghaus voucher to be redeemed on the Berghaus website only.
- Flights will depart from London Heathrow or London Gatwick only.
- Accommodation is based on two adults sharing a double or twin room.
- All parts of the prize must be taken at the same time and must be booked before 1st May 2018 by submitting passport details.
- The winner and their guest will be responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports and visas (if needed) in order to enter Canada. Passports must be valid for at least six months from the departure date. Winners will also be responsible for acquiring the eTA (electronic Travel Authorisation) in order to be allowed entry into Canada.
- Once the prize is confirmed and booked, it will not be possible to change it.
- The prize does not include travel insurance, extras such as mini-bar expenses, excursions, entrance fees, incidental spend and meals that are not expressly included in the prize details above.
- The winner and their guest are responsible for acquiring suitable travel insurance for the duration of the trip.
- The winner will be required to send a minimum of two photos of each activity they participate in during the trip. These should be sent to vanessa@magneticnorthtravel.com within 14 days of the trip ending. The winner agrees that any photos submitted are their own and do not infringe on the copyright of any other parties. The winner gives the promoter the perpetual licence to unlimited usage of the photos for publicity and other purposes including use on their website, social media, brochures or other platform. The copyright of the photos remains that of the winner.
