Get off the beaten path and escape into nature at Bear Claw Lodge, on the banks of the Kispiox River in northwest British Columbia. This family-run timber lodge, hidden in a verdant valley and surrounded by wildlife, offers luxury accommodation, adventures, and relaxation.
Sleep Well
Bear Claw Lodge boasts 15,000 square feet and features eight unique guestrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. All rooms are individually themed, and feature local handcrafted beds and furniture, luxurious bedding, and local First Nations artwork.
Eat Well
International cuisine is created from local produce and served at communal tables in the lodge's great room, built around a hearthstone fireplace, with floor-to-ceiling views of the valley. Guests are also welcome to meet the chefs in the open concept kitchen.
Play Well
Outdoors, try river rafting, kayaking, snorkelling with salmon, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, wild foraging, or join a First Nations cultural tour. Indoors, guests have free run of the vast lodge, which includes an entertainment room and a well-stocked lofted library.
Be Well
Take stretching and yoga classes, experience a luxurious massage, or relax in the riverstone jacuzzi, indoor hot tub, and cedar sauna.
