Hidden by layers of snow in winter and a thick grass roof in summer, Alten Lodge blends in with its mountainous backdrop. In front is a captivating fjord vista which changes with the seasons.
Sleep Well
Lodge rooms and cabins offer cosy sleeping quarters. An open plan dining and living space incorporates several feature windows and sofas from which to admire the all-important views next to a log burner.
Eat Well
Breakfast is served at the lodge while evening meals are taken at the lodge’s restaurant in Alta, Stakeriet.
Play Well
Winter activities include Northern Lights hunting and RIB safaris on the fjord to spot whales and other wildlife. In summer, kayaking, e-biking and hiking are on offer.
Be Well
Take time to unwind in the sauna before stepping outdoors and relaxing in the open air hot tub which features spectacular views.
