Tucked away between snow clad winter forests and Lapland's largest frozen lake lies the stunning Wilderness Hotel Inari. The impressive main building is home to Restaurant Ukko, comfortable lounge areas, hotel reception and activities centre, while the different accommodation options are located nearby.
Sleep Well
Tastefully furnished in Lappish style, each of the room choices provide a very cozy stay for couples and families. They include Wilderness rooms, Inari Arctic Chalets, Aurora Cabins and larger Log Cabins perfect for families. We have chosen the Inari Arctic Chalets as the base for our holidays - these semi-detached Scandinavian designed chalets can sleep up to four people. Each chalet is equipped with a master bedroom, separate living area with sofa bed, interior fireplace, bathroom, private sauna and panoramic windows taking advantage of the spectacular winter scenery.
Eat Well
All the set packages are based on full board, starting with an evening meal on arrival day to breakfast on your departure day. They are buffet style offering a wide selection of traditional Lappish cuisine, including salmon, arctic char, reindeer, moose, soup and salads, all served in the hotel’s Restaurant Ukko. Special dietary requests can be accommodated with advance notice.
Play Well
The frozen Lake Inari and surrounding forest areas provide the perfect playground for thrilling winter activities. The set packages offer great value and all include several adventures during your stay, ranging from snowmobiling, husky sledding, snowshoe walks, visiting a reindeer farm, and aurora activities in search of the northern lights. The exact activities included will be confirmed when booking, and the daily schedule will be advised on arrival at the hotel. Full instructions will be provided by the qualified English speaking guides.

If you would like to warm up and relax after time in the arctic wilderness, the Inari Arctic Chalets and Log Cabins have their own private sauna - a tradition for the people living in Finnish Lapland and a lovely way to end your day!
