Firstly, our thanks to clients, friends and partners who’ve sent us messages of support which have been greatly appreciated during this time. Likewise we extend our gratitude to all those who are taking care of the nation’s health and well-being whilst putting themselves at risk. Together we’ll overcome the challenges ahead and we are looking forward to playing our part in the fight for a brighter future. For now though we will stay home and cherish our travel memories and dream about future ones. 

If you’re travelling with us before the 15 July 2020, you will have heard from us directly about rebooking your trip for a future date. For all departures after 15 July 2020, we will be in touch approximately 35 days ahead of departure date with an update on your trip. No balance payments will be due in the interim period.

For all departures, we are working hard to rebook trips for a future departure date and would like to thank clients for their patience whilst we work with our partners in Scandinavia and Canada to bring you clarity in an ever-changing situation. By rebooking your trip, you will be helping to keep our folks in jobs and hotels open, and we will all have the experiences we dreamt of available to us for future.

In the meantime, we are finding encouragement and strength from “Sisu” -  the Finnish art of overcoming obstacles with courage and conviction. Sisu will help us all through the challenges that the pandemic throws our way. If you are in need of a bolster, Joanna Nyland’s book “Sisu” sets it all out perfectly. We’ll send 10 copies to 10 NHS workers who might need a boost at the moment - email admin@magneticnorthtravel.com and we’ll send them a copy as a small token of gratitude and thanks.
