Scattered amongst the fir trees, Magical Pond offers accommodation in stylish glass igloos, each with large panoramic windows facing the north for optimum aurora viewing from your bedroom. The small and intimate resort also offers a cozy lounge and reception area – offering an atmospheric and peaceful place to relax and read a book or socialise with loved ones. Enjoy delicious meals in Kataja Restaurant whilst admiring the surrounding nature from the large windows, and take part in memorable winter activities.

On arrival, we will arrange a transfer from Rovaniemi or Kuusamo airport to your accommodation at Magical Pond. Check-in to your unique glass igloo room and get acquainted with your surroundings before enjoying a delicious meal in the Kataja Restaurant. We have included a full-board option during your stay.

Enjoy a fast-paced husky sled ride in the wintry forest landscape. After receiving instructions on how to mush your own team of huskies, you drive in pairs, one as a musher and one a passenger along the snowy trails, the huskies leading the way. After the ride, you’ll have the chance to cuddle the friendly dogs, eagerly waiting for their next adventure.
When the night falls and stars begin to shine, you’ll hop on to the sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile and drive into the dark night. While the guide is focussing on the driving, you can focus on looking towards the northern sky in search of the northern lights and enjoying the arctic silence. During the trip, hot juice is served.

You’ll receive safety information and driving instructions (a full driving licence is required) before you head to the trails on a guided snowmobile safari. Along the way, you’ll experience spectacular views and scenery while getting an adrenaline kick as you speed through the arctic landscape.
