Your journey begins in West Iceland, with a morning pick-up from your guide and driver. Leaving Reykjavík behind, you’ll pass the towering Esja mountain before heading to Borgarfjörður, a region rich in Viking history. This is where Norse settlers first arrived, shaping Iceland’s early heritage.
Next, visit Reykholtsdalur Valley to witness Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. Continue to the historic village of Reykholt, once home to Snorri Sturluson, the poet and historian whose writings preserve Norse mythology.
A short drive away, discover two striking waterfalls—Hraunfossar, where water flows through dark lava fields, and Barnafoss, a vivid blue torrent rushing through a narrow ravine.

Today, you’ll explore the diverse landscapes of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, home to lava fields, waterfalls, caves, striking beaches, and the towering Snæfellsjökull Glacier—the setting for Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth. After breakfast, set off on an underground adventure before continuing your journey through this remarkable region.
Your first stop is Ytri-Tunga, a rare golden-sand beach in Iceland and a great place to spot seals. Then, visit the fishing village of Arnarstapi, where basalt cliffs and lava formations line the coast. Walk along the scenic trail past old fishing spots and see waves crashing against Gatklettur, a dramatic rock arch.
Next, travel through a lava-strewn path to Djúpalónssandur, a striking black pebble beach surrounded by unique rock formations. Finally, finish the day at Kirkjufell, one of Iceland’s most photographed mountains, known for its distinct shape and as a filming location for Game of Thrones.

Today, explore Iceland’s famous Golden Circle, home to incredible natural and historical sites. Begin at Þingvellir National Park, where Iceland’s first parliament was established in 930 AD. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s also one of the few places on Earth where you can see tectonic plates shifting above ground.
Continue to Haukadalur Geothermal Area, where Strokkur erupts every five to ten minutes, sending boiling water high into the air. Nearby, you’ll find Geysir, the hot spring that gave all geysers their name.
End the day at Gullfoss, or "The Golden Waterfall," where glacial waters from the Hvítá River plunge 32 metres into a rugged canyon.

Begin the day at Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall you can walk behind, feeling the power of the water as it crashes to the ground. Just nearby, tucked inside a gorge, is Gljúfrabúi, known as the "Canyon Dweller." Reaching it means stepping across river stones—watch your balance, or you might end up with wet feet!
Next, visit Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most striking waterfalls. Dropping 60 metres into a river below, it often creates misty rainbows on sunny days. If you’re up for a challenge, climb the 527 steps to the top for a breathtaking view—your guide might even time you!
Continue to Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach where powerful Atlantic waves crash against towering basalt columns. Offshore, dramatic sea stacks rise from the ocean, with views of Dyrhólaey in the distance.
The adventure ends with a glacier hike on an outlet of one of Iceland’s largest ice caps. Equipped with helmets, crampons, and ice axes, you’ll follow expert guides across the ice, exploring crevasses and learning about the ever-changing world of glaciers.
