ITINERARY

Pick up your rental car at Edmonton International Airport and make your way to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Alberta’s capital city. Be sure to stop by Old Strathcona and Whyte Avenue, Edmonton’s artsy, historic district filled with boutique shops, cafes, craft breweries, live music venues, and the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market.
Before departing Edmonton, consider visiting the Royal Alberta Museum or the West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping and entertainment centre in the world. Then set off on a scenic drive from the rolling prairie landscapes to the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains, arriving at the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, Jasper National Park. The area is a wildlife haven, celebrated as one of Canada's best places to see elk, bear, bighorn sheep and caribou. It is also one of the world's largest Dark Sky Preserves, with reputation as a premier destination for stargazing.

Spend a full day discovering Jasper’s stunning natural wonders. Visit Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, explore Maligne Canyon, and take a walk along Medicine Lake, where the water mysteriously disappears underground. For panoramic views over the Rockies, an optional ride on the Jasper SkyTram is highly recommended.

Travel along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in the world due to its dramatic and changing landscapes. Stop at Athabasca Falls, admire the glaciers of Columbia Icefield, and enjoy breath-taking views at Lake Louise and Moraine Lake before arriving in Banff.

Spend the day exploring the charming alpine town of Banff and its glorious surroundings. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated for its pristine landscapes and protected ecosystems. Take a ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for panoramic views, visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, or hike the scenic trails.

Kelowna, located on Lake Okanagan, is the heart of British Columbia’s wine country and there are plenty of options here for wine tasting and farm-to-table dining. The surrounding hills and mountains also offer excellent opportunities for hiking and biking.

Follow the shores of Lake Okanagan to Penticton, then continue through the Fraser River Valley and Manning Park before arriving in the vibrant city of Vancouver.
