WHAT, WHERE & WHEN

DAY 1:

Your journey in the Faroe Islands begins today. After arriving at Vágar airport, you will head to Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. Tórshavn, one of the smallest capitals in the world, offers a unique blend of history and modern culture, with its colourful houses, cobbled streets, and rich Viking heritage. Once you arrive, you will check in at Hotel Føroyar, which offers stunning views over the city and the surrounding landscapes.

DAY 2:

You will start the day with a quiet cycle ride where you will get to experience the panoramic views over Torshavn. After lunch you head out on a much longer cycle ride which you take you to a former military radar station 725m above level on a mountain plateau. Here you will soak in the incredible views of part of the Faroe Islands.

DAY 3:

Your day begins with a leisurely walk along well-maintained paths to Tórshavn's largest water supply system.

After lunch, you'll ride along hidden trails to the Faroe Islands' most significant historical site, Kirkjubøur. From here, you'll enjoy a wonderful view of the southwest islands.

DAY 4:

Today, you'll cycle along enjoyable paths in Tórshavn, taking in the peaceful atmosphere between houses and churches.

After lunch, you'll tackle the highlight of the programme: the longest and most technical ride. This route takes you up to a stunning mountain pass with a lake and an impressive view, 337 metres above sea level.

DAY 5:

Your mountain biking holiday in the Faroe Islands has come to an end, and you'll soon be heading back home—hopefully with plenty of wonderful memories.
