Natural wonder meets intimate luxury at Lyngen Lodge on the shores of Lyngenfjord in Fjord Norway. With geothermal heating and a thick grass roof, this boutique pine lodge offers a unique base for exploring the majestic Arctic under the glimmering Northern Lights.
Sleep Well
A maximum of 16 guests stay in eight different ensuite rooms. Each room has different furnishings, but all are cozy and intimate, with a view of either glistening Lyngenfjord or the towering Lyngen Alps, which sit directly behind the lodge.
Eat Well
A breakfast buffet, packed or hot lunch, afternoon tea, and a three-course dinner are served family-style in a bright dining area in the lodge. Enjoy gourmet menus created using local ingredients, whilst marvelling at the view of the fjord and mountains right outside.
Play Well
In winter, explore the Lyngen Alps on guided trips to frozen lakes and snowy forests and go dog sledding, snowmobiling, skiing, snow shoeing, or snowshoeing. In summer, hike, paddle, or ride your way to glaciers, canyons, waterfalls, rivers, fjords, and coastal islands.
Be Well
Relax in front of the fireplace in the large social area, read in the library, warm up in the sauna, or watch the Northern Lights from the outdoor jacuzzi. In summer and autumn, join an all-inclusive yoga retreat under the direction of renowned yoga teacher Minna Skirgard.
