Itinerary:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrive in Kirkenes either by air or by ferry with the famous coastal steamer, the Hurtigruten. We’ll provide you with information and schedules for both options.
Overnight in a 3 star hotel in the centre of Kirkenes.
DAY 2:
Today you’ll experience the winter wilderness by snow mobile. You’ll travel around 15 minutes by car to the resort where you’ll learn how to drive the snowmobile. Your tour will last for around four hours over the surrounding fells. You’ll stop for breaks during the two hour trip.
Overnight in Kirkenes.
DAY 3:
You’ll transfer to the husky farm where you’ll meet over 85 exciteable dogs. You’ll travel by sled learning the secrets of mushing with your guide. The trip lasts for two hours.

DAY 4
This morning you’ll check out of the hotel and join a king crab safari with a local fisherman on the fjord. Your catch will be served for lunch. Each king crab has enough meat for a feast! Crab will never taste as good after this trip.
In the evening you will depart for your final night to be spent in the Snow Hotel. You’ll enjoy a welcome drink in the SnowBar on arrival. Dinner will be by the fire in the hotel’s cosy restaurant before your chance to meet the reindeer on the farm nearby. When it’s time for bed, you’ll be warm and cosy inside your sleeping bag in the icy chamber.
DAY 5:
Relax in the Sauna before breakfast and return to Kirkenes for onward travel.
